What is MaturityWorks?
MaturityWorks is a Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). This MaturityWorks website provides a unique matching process for participating mature workers (jobseekers) and employers (looking to hire).
Employers who hire participating mature workers will be eligible to receive a mature worker employer incentive!! The employer incentive is reimbursement of 4 weeks of wages paid to the employee at 100%.
MaturityWorks is a project of The WorkPlace and is funded by a grant provided by the United States Department of Labor.

As our population continues to age, older Americans will play an increasingly important role in maintaining our economy and America’s leadership in the world marketplace.
Are there any fees when I hire an employee who comes from the MaturityWorks program?
There are no placement fees when you hire a mature worker who is a MaturityWorks job candidate. Think of us as a non-profit employment agency—one with ready-to-work mature workers who want to put their experience, dedication and loyalty to work for you.
In fact, your employees that come through the MaturityWorksprogram have an incentive attached to them! When you hire a MaturityWorksjob candidate, you will get reimbursed 4 weeks of wages at 100%.
What are the "top qualities" of mature workers?
The Committee on Economic Development cites surveys indicating that employers rate older workers high on factors such as judgment, commitment to quality, attendance and punctuality. These qualities, coupled with their “old fashioned employer loyalty,” make older workers an attractive resource for employers seeking workers and possibly mentors for younger workers.
